Scott B. Seymann
Scott B. Seymann received his JD in 2009 from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where he was a Cohen Scholar and graduated with pro bono distinction. While in law school, Scott was President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Students Association, an active Moot Court competitor, a shelter director for the Advocacy Program Against Domestic Violence, a pro bono consultant for the Homeless Legal Assistance Program, and a pro bono volunteer with the Arizona Justice Project, for which he worked with Arizona legislators to advance proposed legislation that would compensate wrongfully convicted prisoners. Scott continues to pursue pro bono work in this area. In addition, Scott completed a judicial externship for U.S. District Court of Arizona Judge Roslyn O. Silver, a criminal practice clinic with the City of Glendale Prosecutor's Office, and a volunteer internship with the Victim Advocate division of the Maricopa County Attorney's Office. Most recently, he worked as a law clerk with Polsinelli Shughart PC in Phoenix, Arizona, and currently volunteers as Board member of the Phoenix FBI Citizens' Academy Alumni Association.
Prior to his career in law Scott was a professional audio engineer/producer and musician in Los Angeles and Phoenix. He previously owned and operated a recording studio in Chandler, Arizona and taught audio production classes as an adjunct professor at both Mesa and Scottsdale Community College. He holds a Golden Reel award and two Golden Reel nominations for his work on several 20th Century Fox animated feature films.
